Where we work

Australia-wide, and
on site when it counts.

Managed IT, cloud communications and AI delivered remotely to businesses right across Australia. For the jobs that need somebody physically there, these are the places we turn up.

On-site coverage

Sydney CBD and metro

On-site attendance across the Sydney metropolitan area, from the CBD out through the suburbs.

Sutherland Shire

Our home ground. The office is at Cronulla, and the Shire is where our on-site work started.

Newcastle

On-site attendance for businesses through Newcastle and the Hunter.

Wollongong

On-site attendance through Wollongong and the Illawarra.

Blue Mountains

On-site attendance across the Blue Mountains.

Brisbane CBD and metro

Staff based in Brisbane, so attendance in Queensland is local rather than flown in.

Sunshine Coast

Covered by the same Queensland team as Brisbane.

Sutherland Shire

The office is at Cronulla, so the Shire is the area we know best and the one where attending a site is most straightforward. These pages go into what the work usually looks like in each part of it.

St George

Immediately north of the Shire, across the Georges River. These are St George suburbs rather than Sutherland Shire ones, and we work with businesses in both.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Metcom works with businesses Australia-wide. Most managed IT, cloud communications and AI work is delivered remotely, so a customer can be anywhere in the country. For work that needs somebody physically present, we attend site across the Sydney CBD and metropolitan area, the Sutherland Shire, Newcastle, Wollongong and the Blue Mountains, and through our Queensland staff, the Brisbane CBD and metropolitan area and the Sunshine Coast.
The office is at 55 Flinders Road, Cronulla NSW 2230, in the Sutherland Shire in southern Sydney. We also have staff based in Brisbane.
Most of it is remote, and that is usually faster for everyone. The exceptions are the physical jobs: structured cabling, hardware installation, phone system cutovers, and faults that will not resolve over a remote session. Those are the ones where being able to attend matters.
Yes, and multi-site businesses are a large part of what we do. One phone system across several sites, managed IT covering every location rather than only the noisiest one, and connectivity designed per premises are all standard work.
Yes. The on-site list describes where we can physically attend, not where we accept customers. Remote delivery covers the whole country, and for a customer outside those areas we arrange on-site work when it is genuinely needed.
